The bead was smaller than I had expected. I was hoping for a larger sphere because if you have long nails, screwing the bead on can be quite tricky. The marbling on my black bead was not very fine; half of the bead is actually more white and it looks kind of weird. Aesthetics aside, it is a good product in terms of materials and it is practical.

Attaching the cone to the stem can be a little bit fiddly, but I prefer the cones over the round ball beads for this reason. I had a pair of cones, but one fell off quite soon into wearing it. A pity, but I've since ended up buying the mix pack - which is an economical way to compensate for how many I lose.

I use these in my ears as they're very sensitive. Can safely say that there are no cheap metals used in Purely Piercings products otherwise I would have had reactions by now. The range included with the labret mixes included a few cones and mostly glitter balls. Would have liked to have seen a few dice or opaques in there but there weren't any, even though I got three packs. This is worth it if you lose the beads often or if you like to change up your jewelry everyday.

These plugs are beautiful but are a little heavy which can mean that they sometimes fall out if they don't fit snugly (for me, mainly when i'm sleeping but it's up to you whether you wear them over night or not). They really are lovely to look at though and I would, and probably will buy again.
